We took my father here for a birthday breakfast. It looks like a house they turned into an amazing restaurant. There is plenty of parking and a comfortable waiting room indoors with chairs. I called up the restaurant in advance since I was going with 9 people. Once I walked in, I was greeted by 2 beautiful hosts that were very polite and nice enough to put tables together in advance for us. They have their own clothing line if you would like to purchase. Even though the place was very crowded, it moved quickly and the food came out in good timing. Our waitress was Jen and she was great. She explained all the specials and home made muffins they offer. She was at the table asking if we needed anything throughout the whole time we were there. With such a great variety of different type of pancakes and French toast you definitely want to come here to eat. At the moment they do not take credit cards. It’s cash only.
My family has been coming here for over twenty years since they moved to Suffolk County and this is absolutely the best spot on Long Island for an amazing breakfast (and lunch) experience. They have the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever had and the friendly family-run atmosphere is so refreshing. I usually get the same chocolate chip pancakes every time, but they also have an extensive menu of specials too. Everyone who works here is very pleasant and the service is always prompt even when they are super crowded. Between the exceptional food and atmosphere, you can never go wrong at Maureen’s Kitchen.
It is one of the cutest restaurants in Long Island. This place is poplar and busy. We went on random Tuesday at 11 am, and it was a full house. Our waitress was amazing. She was sweet and lovely. Always checking up and was super friendly to my kids. Food was great! We ordered: #2 - 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 1 sausage, and 2 bacon. Delicious, classic breakfast is definitely a good deal Marinated ribeye steak - steak, 2 eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. Great steak and eggs. I would recommend medium rare. (We had medium) Kids - chicken and fries - the chicken was a well seasoned chicken breast. Also delicious, my child devoured it. The chocolate chip banana muffin was so fluffy and the crumb top was soo good. 10/10 Super cute decor. I would definitely be back with friends and family.
The croissant french toast is so good. However, I had the omelette and I thought it was mediocre. I went on a Tuesday at around 11:30 AM and there was no wait for 2 people in the bar.
Very cute country feel restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful when suggesting items. I had the special banana loaf French toast and it was amazing. I loved the combination of the banana with a cocoanut cream.
